Polish Shoe Ceremony

Early that morning, there will be a traditional Polish shoe ceremony in which the bride will (officially) be accepted into the groom's family.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony will be an interfaith ceremony comprised of Buddhist and Lutheran readings.

Chinese Tea Ceremony

Immediately after the wedding ceremony, there will be a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to honor our parents and ancestors on this blessed occasion!

Light Afternoon Tea

Following the ceremonies, there will be a light tea at Collingwood so that guests can soak in the beautiful fall afternoon and catch up/meet with friends and family...and of course the bride and groom.

After the bride tosses her bouquet off the front balcony of the Collingwood museum, the wedding party and guests will travel up to China Garden, where a traditional ten-course banquet will be waiting for them...along with a traditional chinese lion dance!

As you can see, it should be an exciting and eventful day! Please note that the location of the wedding will be an outdoor event.
